TOUPRET SUMMER SIZZLER WITH PPG 

COMPETITION TERMS AND CONDITIONS 

 

1. The Promoter.

This competition (the “Toupret Summer Sizzler”) is promoted by Toupret UK, a division of Toupret SA, with its registered UK office at Unit 19, Carlton Road, South Croydon, CR2 0BS. (company registration number 05006814).  

PPG Architectural Coatings UK Limited (which owns and operates Johnstone's Decorating Centres) is not the promoter of this competition and has no role in its administration, management, or execution, and accepts no responsibility for the operation or fulfilment of the promotion. Participating stores act solely as locations for the promotion. 

2. Eligibility. 

(a) This competition is open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 years or over at the date of entry. 

(b) The following persons are excluded from entering: employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter, Johnstone's Decorating Centre, PPG Architectural Coatings UK Limited, and any company or agency associated with the administration of this competition. "Immediate family" means parents, siblings, children, spouses, civil partners, and those living in the same household. 

(c) Proof of age and UK residency may be required before a prize is awarded. 

3. Competition Period. The competition opens at 00:01 on 1st June 2026 and closes at 23:59 on 30th June 2026. (the "Competition Period"). Entries received outside the Competition Period will not be accepted. 

4. How to Enter. 

  1. To enter, participants must make a qualifying purchase of Toupret products to the value of £25 (twenty-five pounds) or more (inclusive of VAT) in a single transaction at a participating Johnstone’s Decorating Centre during the Competition Period. 
  2. Following a qualifying purchase, participants must scan a QR card on promotional material and complete the online entry form, also during the competition period. They will be required to upload an image of their till receipt as proof of purchase, and this should be retained by the participant. 
  3. A maximum of one (1) entry per person is permitted, regardless of the number of qualifying purchases made. Duplicate entries will be disqualified. 
  4. Entries must be submitted by the entrant personally. Bulk entries, entries made by third parties or via automated means will be disqualified. 
  5. Purchase is necessary to enter this competition. No free entry route is offered.  

5. The Prize. 

  1. There is one (1) prize available: an outdoor bundle to the approximate retail value of £4,000 (four thousand pounds) (the "Prize"). The Prize consists of  
  • Pair of Sonos outdoor speakers by Sonos and Sonance 
  • Ninja Artisan electric outdoor pizza oven & air fryer. Features include: 
  • Cooking functions: pizza, bake, air fry & prove 
  • 12” Pizza stone, 30x30cm bake tray, pizza peel, air fry basket & recipes 
  • NEBULA Capsule 3 laser projector 
  • Outdoor projector screen and stand 
  • Solo Stove smokeless fire pit with stand 
  • Zuiver cooler with legs and closeable lid 
  • 2 x large Extreme Lounging B-Bulb portable lights  
  • 2 x luxury outdoor beanbag style loungers 
  • Food and drinks for summer BBQ’s with friends and family 

b. There is no cash alternative or transferable alternative to the Prize (whether in whole or in part). The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the Prize (or any element of it) with a prize of equal or greater value if the original Prize becomes unavailable for reasons beyond the Promoter's reasonable control. 

c. The Prize is awarded "as is". The Promoter makes no warranties or representations regarding the Prize beyond those implied by law. The winner is responsible for any costs not expressly included in the Prize (including but not limited to assembly, installation, and ongoing maintenance). 

d. The Prize is non-exchangeable, non-refundable, and cannot be resold. 

Winner Selection. 

  1. One (1) winner will be selected at random from all valid entries received during the Competition Period. The draw will take place within 14 days of the closing date at the Promoter's premises (or such other location as the Promoter may determine). 
  2. The random draw will be conducted by an independent person not connected with the competition. The Promoter's decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into. 
  3. In the event of a dispute regarding the identity of an entrant, the entry will be deemed to have been submitted by the person whose details correspond to the entry information provided at the time of entry. 

Winner Notification and Prize Claim. 

  1. The winner will be notified via the contact details provided at entry (email and/or telephone) within 7 days of the draw taking place. 
  2. The winner must respond to the notification and confirm acceptance of the Prize within 14 days of the notification being sent. If the winner does not respond within this period, or if the winner is unable to accept the Prize, or if the winner is found to be ineligible or in breach of these terms, the Promoter reserves the right to withdraw the Prize and select an alternative winner by the same method. A maximum of two (2) redraws will be conducted. 
  3. The winner may be required to provide proof of identity, age, and UK residency (e.g. a valid passport or driving licence and a recent utility bill) and proof of qualifying purchase (original till receipt) before the Prize is released. 
  4. Prize delivery arrangements will be agreed directly with the winner. The Promoter will make reasonable efforts to deliver the Prize within 28 days of the winner's acceptance being confirmed, although delivery timescales are not guaranteed. 

Data Protection and Privacy. 

  1. The Promoter is the data controller for any personal data collected in connection with this competition. Personal data will be processed in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. 
  2. What data we collect. To administer this competition, we will collect the entrant's name, email address, telephone number, and proof-of-purchase details. If an entrant is selected as the winner, we may also collect a postal delivery address and identification documents for verification purposes. 
  3. Lawful basis. We process personal data on the basis of (i) the performance of a contract (i.e. these competition terms, which the entrant agrees to upon entry), and (ii) our legitimate interests in administering the competition, preventing fraud, and publicising the winner. 
  4. How we use data. Personal data collected will be used solely for the purposes of administering this competition, including verifying eligibility, selecting and notifying the winner, arranging Prize delivery, and publishing the winner's name and county of residence (see clause 9 below). Personal data will not be used for direct marketing purposes unless the entrant has provided separate, explicit consent to receive marketing communications. 
  5. Data sharing. Personal data may be shared only with third-party service providers acting on the Promoter's behalf (for example, competition administration platforms, Prize fulfilment partners, or delivery companies), but only to the extent necessary to administer this competition. Personal data will not be sold or shared with unrelated third parties for their own marketing purposes.  
     
    For the avoidance of doubt, PPG Architectural Coatings UK Limited do not receive or process personal data in connection with this competition. Any personal data processed by PPG Architectural Coatings UK Limited in connection with the sale of products is processed independently of this competition and solely for ordinary retail and transactional purposes.  PPG only processes personal data in its capacity as a retailer. That processing is separate from, and not for the purpose of, administering the promotion, which is entirely controlled by Toupret. 

Data retention. Personal data collected from non-winning entrants will be securely deleted within 90 days of the closing date. The winner's data will be retained for a period of 12 months following Prize delivery for record-keeping, audit, and legal compliance purposes, after which it will be securely deleted. 

Your rights. Entrants have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing of, and port their personal data, and to object to processing, in accordance with UK data protection law. To exercise any of these rights, please contact marketingUK@toupret.com Entrants also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

Publicity. 

  1. By entering this competition, the entrant agrees that, if selected as the winner, their first name, surname initial, and county of residence may be published by the Promoter and/or PPG for the purposes of announcing the winner and complying with the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) Code of Practice. 
  2. The winner may be asked (but is not required) to participate in reasonable post-competition publicity, including photographs, social media posts, or testimonials. Any such participation will be agreed in advance with the winner. 
  3. The winner's name and county of residence will be made available on reasonable request to anyone who writes to the Promoter at Toupret, Marketing Dept., Unit 19, Carlton Road, South Croydon, CR2 0BS. or emails marketingUK@toupret.com within 90 days of the closing date, enclosing a stamped, self-addressed envelope (for postal requests). 

Disqualification and Fraud Prevention. The Promoter reserves the right (in its sole discretion) to disqualify any entrant and/or withhold any Prize if it has reasonable grounds to believe the entrant has breached these terms, acted fraudulently, dishonestly, or in a manner that is contrary to the spirit of the competition, tampered with the entry process, or engaged in conduct that could bring the Promoter into disrepute. The Promoter may require entrants to prove they are not using any fraudulent means of entry. 

Limitation of Liability. 
 
The Promoter shall be responsible for the administration and operation of this competition and shall indemnify and hold harmless PPG Architectural Coatings UK Limited against any claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs or regulatory actions arising out of or in connection with the promotion or its administration (but excluding any liability arising from the negligence of PPG Architectural Coatings UK Limited in relation to their premises or operations). Nothing in these terms shall exclude or limit any liability of PPG Architectural Coatings UK Limited for death or personal injury caused by their negligence, or for fraud, or for any other liability which cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.  

     

To the fullest extent permitted by law: 

  1. The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or injury (including indirect, consequential, or special loss) suffered or sustained by any entrant in connection with this competition or the Prize, except for death or personal injury caused by the Promoter's negligence or for fraud. 
  2. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries that are lost, delayed, misdirected, incomplete, corrupted, or otherwise not received for any reason, including (but not limited to) network, computer, or software failures, technical malfunctions, or congestion of traffic on the internet or at any website. 
  3. Nothing in these terms shall exclude or limit the Promoter's liability for any matter which it would be unlawful to exclude or limit, or attempt to exclude or limit, under applicable law, including under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. 

General. 

The Promoter reserves the right to amend, suspend, or cancel this competition (or any element of it) at any time if circumstances beyond its reasonable control make this unavoidable, or if the competition cannot be conducted as planned due to fraud, technical failures, or any other factor that could compromise the integrity of the competition. Any such changes will be published on https://www.toupret.co.uk/professional-filler/toupret-summer-sizzler-competition and will take effect immediately. The Promoter will endeavour to minimise the impact on entrants. 

These terms are intended to be fair and reasonable in accordance with the requirements of the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) guidance on unfair contract terms. 

This competition and these terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. 

If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. 

These terms are intended to comply with the UK Code of Non-broadcast Advertising and Direct & Promotional Marketing (CAP Code). In the event of any conflict between these terms and the CAP Code, the CAP Code shall take precedence. 

By entering the competition, participants confirm that they have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. 

All queries, complaints, and claims relating to this competition must be directed to the Promoter, and PPG Architectural Coatings UK Limited shall have no obligation to respond to or resolve such matters.
