Characteristics

For Single Glazed Wooden Window Frames:
Glazing Putty is a professional, easy to use putty designed for glazing and sealing applications on painted or primed wooden windows, both inside and out.

Applied with a putty knife directly to the primed wood surface, it has no working time limit so you can take as long as needed to achieve a neat, consistent bead. It won't smear or mark glazing during application, making it clean and straightforward to work with. The non-sticky formula means it doesn't cling to hands or tools, keeping the job tidy. It has a depth limit of 5mm

Once a skin has formed - typically 6 to 8 days after application - it can be overcoated with any paint, varnish, or preservative coating, giving you full flexibility over the finished appearance.

Supplied in a resealable 1kg tin, it stays workable between jobs without drying out, making it a practical choice for painters and decorators carrying out ongoing window maintenance work across multiple properties
.
Apply to painted or primed wood only - do not apply to bare, untreated, or damp wood.
