Fine Finish Wood Filler is the final preparation step before painting primed wood surfaces. Designed to help you achieve a high gloss, mirror-like paint finish, it glides over small imperfections - fine scratches, grain lines, surface marks, and shallow defects - leaving an ultra-smooth, consistent base that enhances the quality and uniformity of the substrate, to obtain the best quality finish.
Applied straight from the tube with a filling knife, it has no working time limit, so you can take as long as needed to achieve a clean, even application. At a maximum thickness of 1mm, it's not intended for large repairs or deep holes - for those, use Wood Repair Filler first, then finish with Fine Finish Wood Filler for the ultimate smooth finish.
Suitable for interior and exterior wood, once dry - typically within 1 to 2 hours - it can be overcoated with any paint and sands back cleanly to a white, smooth finish.
