Characteristics
Skim-Flex is a ready to use, flexible skim coat filler designed for interior and exterior surfaces. Skim-Flex remains flexible when dry, making it the ideal solution for repairing reappearing cracks on substrates prone to movement and settling.
Suitable for covering larger areas with a typical application thickness of 5 mm. For deeper fills, apply Fill-Flex first, then use Skim-Flex to match the surrounding surface texture. For minor defects up to 5 mm deep, Skim-Flex can fill and finish the repair in a single product.
Its breathable, moisture-resistant formula makes Skim-Flex particularly well suited to kitchens and bathrooms. Strong adhesion ensures reliable bonding to all common surfaces, including drywall, plaster, brick, concrete, and tile.
Skim-Flex spreads and sands with ease. You can apply this product with a roller and blade or a filling knife or a trowel. Light enough for fine finishing work, yet versatile enough for tiled and textured surfaces. Apply as a fine skim coat to smooth imperfections, or build up layers to repair larger defects, creating a uniform, durable surface ready for decorating.
