ANTI-DAMP RENDER

Anti-Damp Render is specifically designed for treating damp masonry on both interior and exterior surfaces, including garages, basements and cellars. It should be applied directly to bare substrates. For lighter applications, use a brush in a criss-cross pattern; for levelling uneven surfaces, apply a thicker coat with a trowel or blade. To ensure effective anti-damp performance, a minimum coat thickness of 2mm is required. Anti-Damp Render is suitable for bare, sound, damp, not wet substrates (please refer to the technical datasheet for full guidance). Once set, it forms a barrier against residual moisture within the substrate while remaining highly vapour permeable, allowing water vapour to evaporate naturally. For best results, ensure that any finishing paint used is also water vapour permeable.

Anti-Damp Render should be applied at a maximum thickness of 10mm (1cm). Applying the product beyond this depth can reduce its vapour permeability. If the breathable barrier is compromised, trapped moisture may build up behind the coating and force its way through, potentially leading to blistering or peeling.

Anti-Damp Render is a high cement-content treatment filler that performs like a render on masonry substrates. It forms a barrier against water penetration while remaining breathable, so moisture vapour can still escape.
